A blockchain technology company in Mexico is looking for an experienced Rust/Substrate engineer to develop the OriginTrail ecosystem. Candidates should have a strong background in Rust, significant experience in software design, and be proficient in English. This role involves collaborating on innovative blockchain technologies and delivering impactful solutions within an open-source environment.

Formación

• At least 4 years of experience in software design.

We are looking for an experienced Rust/Substrate engineer to join us in developing the OriginTrail ecosystem of technologies, with a specific focus on the OriginTrail Polkadot parachain. You will be working in an open-source environment on progressive tech stacks developed by our team. You can expect to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology and to develop core blockchain internals in Rust.

Requirements:

• Experience with Rust and its ecosystem
• At least 4 years of experience with designing and implementing scalable software solutions
• Strong experience in data structures and database systems
• Strong experience using and navigating dev tooling (Git, CI/CD tools etc)
• Strong proficiency in English language

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with OriginTrail technologies
• Experience with Polkadot (Substrate framework)
• Experience with P2P networking (libp2p) or consensus algorithms
• Open source software background
• Knowledge of Solidity, WASM and EVM
• Experience with semantic web technologies
• Experience in enterprise software implementations
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle, DigitalOcean)

What would your day at Trace Labs be like?

As part of Trace Labs, you will have the unique opportunity to research and utilize state-of-the-art technology to build,design, help implement, or communicate (depending on the team you are applying for) AI-ready solutions daily, utilizing thepower of the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph.
