A leading Web3 infrastructure technology firm is looking for an entry-level QA engineer to join their team in Mexico. You'll apply the latest practices in quality assurance and work with decentralized systems and smart contracts. Desired skills include software testing, experience with Git and Jira, and a strong understanding of web technologies. We are looking for an entry level QA engineer to join our bleeding-edge Web3 infrastructure and product development team. Your day will consist of learning and applying the latest best practices and technologies in the quality assurance of decentralized systems, smart contracts, knowledge graphs, and Web3 applications built on top of them. This includes QA specification, manual and automated testing, reporting and documenting the testing processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience in software testing and writing test scenarios (Gherkin/Cucumber)
• Experience in version control systems and issue tracking tools (Git, Jira)
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTTP, JSON, RPC, AJAX)
• Strong proficiency in English language

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with OriginTrail technology
• Experience in automated software testing and continuous integration & deployment
• Experience in enterprise software implementations
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Oracle, DigitalOcean)
• Familiarity with blockchain & smart contract testing (e.g. Truffle)
• Familiarity with distributed systems
• Familiarity with load testing

• Supporting developers in reproducing and troubleshooting defects
• Managing tickets and communicating with relevant parties (client, team)
• Learning and researching Web3 technologies on an ongoing basis
• Delivering high quality, impactful solutions for the OriginTrail ecosystem
• Collaborating within and across various engineering teams
• Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

What would your day at Trace Labs be like?
