Are you a design major or finishing your studies in a similar field? Excited about digital visual communications and the power of video? Do you have a taste for digital technologies in general and would love to work in a highly innovative, dynamic international environment? We are looking for talented and creative individuals to help our design team visually communicate the latest events and updates in the OriginTrail ecosystem through a variety of visual materials.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable graphic design skills (existing projects to showcase - client work as well as student projects are acceptable)
• Proficiency with desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Basic video editing skills
• Basic knowledge of Figma
• Familiarity with designing different communication materials, from social media posts and blog covers to event announcements, different charts, etc.
• Readiness to approach learning by doing
• High motivation to self-improve in graphic as well as UX/UI design
• High English language proficiency

Nice to have:

• Formal education (BSc) in graphic design or related field
• Advanced video editing skills and previous experience in producing video materials for social media and/or YouTube
• Experience using Figma as a design collaboration tool
• Previous experience working in design teams and cross-collaboration with other teams like communications, marketing, and/or product development
• Previous experience in UX/UI design

What would your day at Trace Labs be like?

As part of Trace Labs, you will have the unique opportunity to research and utilize state-of-the-art technology to build,design, help implement, or communicate (depending on the team you are applying for) AI-ready solutions daily, utilizing thepower of the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph. Because technical novelty requires constant learning, over theyears, we have become big fans of scrum, self-organizing teams, and evolving solutions from proof-of-concepts to completeproduction-ready systems. This usually involves working together with the research community and institutions from relevantindustries as well as our supportive open-source community.

This means we communicate and document our work in English and are big fans of standards, such as GS1 and W3C, as well asengineering frameworks, such as using theNASA technology readiness level scale.

Applied learning is what we value the most, as this increases the knowledge of the whole organization. You will most likelybe engaged in hands-on implementation projects with our partners and clients.
