Amazon Inc. is seeking a Senior Compliance Program Manager to oversee deployment and validation of protective controls across Worldwide Operations Security.
You’ll build scalable enablement models and partner with Global Risk & Resilience to translate requirements into actionable plans. The role emphasizes hands-on validation, playbook creation, and continuous improvement, with a focus on field teams operating across diverse geographies.
You will oversee the deployment and validation of protective controls for Amazon personnel across Worldwide Operations Security. Global Risk & Resilience (R&R) determines which controls are needed; you ensure those controls get deployed and function as intended. You build the operational scaffolding that empowers Field Security & Loss Prevention (SLP) teams and partner SOG teams to execute controls independently, without friction.
You will author playbooks, validate control performance through testing and after-action review, and operate feedback loops that drive continuous improvement. When possible, you enable field teams to execute; when necessary, you execute directly. You are building something new from the ground up.
Your morning starts with a strategic question: how do we take a protective capability that works for ten sites and make it work for a thousand? You spend time defining the foundational operating criteria - the deployment standards, validation methods, and enablement models - that will allow this team to scale globally without adding headcount linearly. Mid-morning, you work with Global Risk & Resilience (R&R) to align on how new control requirements will flow into your team and how you will measure deployment speed and efficacy across regions.
After lunch, you design the enablement model that will let Field SLP teams globally execute controls without needing your team in the loop for every case. You are building the playbooks, escalation logic, and feedback mechanisms that make People Protection a platform - not a bottleneck. When you step into an active case, it is to validate that the system you are building actually works under pressure, and to capture the lessons that improve the next iteration. You balance long-term architecture with near-term execution, always asking: will this still work at 10x the volume?
