fontis Energy seeks a seasoned Rig Manager to lead the operating unit's safe, efficient and profitable rig operations from Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. You will oversee planning, budgeting, and execution while maintaining strong client relationships and guiding a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, achieving performance targets, optimizing well programs, and driving safety across all rig activities.

Formación

• Years of experience in drilling industry with managerial exposure.
• Strong engineering background with ability to oversee rig operations.
• Experience delivering budgets, forecasts and financial controls.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, efficient, and profitable rig operations.
• Lead planning, execution, and supervision for operational targets.
• Manage budgets/forecasts aligned with rig contracts.
• Drive safety culture and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain customer relationships and oversee start-ups.
• Oversee demobilizations, operations status, and short-term goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to meet company objectives and improve operations.
• Review and manage rig contract requirements and staffing.
• Assist client on well optimization and ensure proper well control practices.
• Develop leadership capabilities and ensure training plans for rig personnel.
