Purpose of the Job
As a Junior Benefits Analyst, you will support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs for Labatt employees and retirees. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or professionals with less than 1 year of experience in Human Resources. You will collaborate with team members, vendors, and employees to ensure smooth benefits operations and a great employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employee and retiree questions related to benefits via tickets or email, providing clear and timely information.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all employees and retirees.
- Support communication and follow-up with external benefits vendors when questions or issues arise.
- Assist in managing taxable benefits such as: Beer Benefit, Insurance (Health, Life, Dental, LTD), and Car Benefit.
- Help employees navigate benefits platforms such as Workday, Flex Portal, Manulife, and Sun Life.
- Support the enrollment process for new employees and during annual enrollment periods.
- Assist with regular audits and help resolve recurring issues related to benefits or pensions.
- Collaborate with the Payroll and Rewards teams on topics like taxable benefits and pension-related matters.
- Help reconcile vendor payments and support related documentation.
- Support the distribution and tracking of Beer Cards and Beer Vouchers.
- Assist in other benefits-related tasks as directed by the Rewards Manager.
Required Skills
Education:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Advanced conversational English level.
Technical Skills:
- Basic Excel skills (advanced is a plus).
- Comfortable using or learning systems like Workday and vendor portals.
- Basic understanding of benefits or HR processes is an asset.

Experience:
- Up to 1 year of internship or work experience in HR, Benefits, or related administrative roles.
