A leading hotel chain in Mexico is seeking a Revenue Management Specialist. The role involves providing analytical support and managing revenue projects to enhance hotel performance. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in revenue management and excellent skills in data analysis and communication. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence in Guadalajara three times a week.

Formación

Job Summary

Provide analytical and tactical support for the RMS team to ensure hotel satisfaction and effective revenue management service. Manage and execute revenue management projects and processes to support targeted revenue growth for hotels serviced by the Revenue Management Services department. Act as hotel support coverage in the absence of the Regional Revenue Manager(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and strategic support for key assets contracted under the Revenue Management for Hire (RMH) service model.
• Assist assigned team in hotel Revenue Management calls as needed.
• Maintain database of information to identify trends and improve hotel performance.
• Create ad‑hoc reports and act as backup for running daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Assist assigned team with tactical revenue management duties.
• Create recap templates for the assigned team on a rotating basis.
• Work with Revenue Managers on assigned teams to provide administrative support as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or similar, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Typically 3–5 years in hotel revenue management, reservations, or operations.
• Technical Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong PC skills including software packages (Access, SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, E‑mail, Adobe, etc.) and web‑based applications.
  • Math skills for checking figures for accuracy.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to draft and compile documents for internal and external customers.
  • Ability to analyze database information for accurate tracking, reporting trends, and identifying inconsistencies.
  • Organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Problem‑solving skills to maintain daily office flow and resolve issues.
  • Strong organizational and work‑coordinating skills to handle multiple assignments.
  • Prior hotel operations experience preferred.
