Intuitive Surgical, a leader in robotic assisted minimally invasive surgery, seeks a capable Analyst to join the Corporate Accounting team onsite in Mexicali. The role offers visibility into domestic and international operations and supports world-class financial reporting aligned with company policies.

You will work closely with managers and executives, ensuring timely close, accurate reporting, and adherence to internal controls within a fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
  • 2+ years of accounting or related field experience (revenue accounting preferred).
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform revenue close activities including journal entries, contract reviews, reconciliations, and monthly close reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, accounting and finance on system/process implementations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement or automation in the existing systems.
  • Ensure internal controls and update process documentation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and U.S. GAAP for responsible areas.
  • Interface with external auditors for statutory and local audits.
  • Prepare lease-related reconciliations and disclosures.

As the Analyst, Corporate Accounting, you will have a great visibility into our domestic and international operations and help the Corporate Accounting team drive world-class financial reporting by monitoring worldwide activity and compliance with company accounting policies.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform revenue close activities including executing journal entries, contract review and processing, account reconciliations, management reporting, supplemental monthly reporting schedules and balance sheet/income statement variance analysis in accordance with our monthly close schedule.
  • Collaborating cross functionally with other teams (IT, accounting and finance, etc.) in system and process implementation projects and perform testing to validate system design is appropriate.
  • Actively identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure.
  • Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and U.S. GAAP for responsible areas
  • Interface with external auditors of the foreign subsidiaries for statutory and other local audit requirements.
  • Perform accounting accruals and payments for rebates to customers.
  • Review lease contracts, amendments, and billing plans to system inputs/outputs, and prepare lease related account reconciliations and disclosures.
Qualifications

Skills/Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is Accounting/Finance.
  • 2+ yearsof experience related accounting or related field (experience in Revenue Accounting preferred).
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Conversational business English — able to discuss reporting items and respond to questions from U.S. counterparts
  • Detail oriented, organized, motivated and able to function in a fast-paced environment, especially during quarter-end reporting periods.
  • Knowledge of SAP (or other large ERP) is preferred.
  • Strong fundamental accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and oversee multiple projects at once.
