Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Reservations & Core Manager to oversee the reservations department and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing daily operations, revenue maximization strategies, and team leadership while fostering a guest-centric culture. Ideal candidates are fluent in Spanish and English, have a relevant degree, and possess luxury hotel experience.

Formación

  • Experience with luxury hotel environments is a plus.

About the role of Reservations & Core Manager:

The Reservations & Core Manager oversees the Reservations Department and the Core (PBX/Service Communication Center) team to ensure a seamless, efficient, and guest-centric reservation and communication experience.

What you will do:

  • Supervise daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring accuracy in bookings and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective inventory control, rate management, and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor reservation trends, no-show rates, and pickup reports to make proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Revenue and Sales departments to implement rate strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain knowledge of all hotel packages, promotions, and events to ensure accurate guest communication.
  • Ensure all OTA, GDS, and direct booking channels are updated and aligned with current offerings and rates.
  • Foster teamwork between Core and other operational departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members, fostering professional development and service excellence.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Opera and Golden System.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a leading Sales or Revenue role.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in reservations or guest relations.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work with all hotel systems with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, luxury service standards.
  • Guest-centric mindset and understanding of guest preferences.
