A leading luxury hotel is seeking a Reservations & Core Manager to oversee the Reservations Department and enhance guest experiences in Los Cabos. The ideal candidate will have a strong management background in hospitality, fluency in both Spanish and English, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Formación

  • At least 2 years in a leadership role in Sales or Revenue.
  • Minimum 2 years in reservations or guest relations.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus.

  • Maximize room revenue through inventory control and rate management.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members.

About the role of Reservations & Core Manager:

The Reservations & Core Manager oversees the Reservations Department and the Core (PBX/Service Communication Center) team to ensure a seamless, efficient, and guest-centric reservation and communication experience.

What you will do:

  • Supervise daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring booking accuracy and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Maximize room revenue through inventory control, rate management, and upselling.
  • Analyze reservation trends, no-show rates, and pickup reports to make proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams on rate strategies and promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of all hotel packages, promotions, and events for accurate guest communication.
  • Ensure all OTA, GDS, and direct booking channels are current and aligned with offerings.
  • Foster teamwork between Core and other departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to promote professional development and service excellence.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with Opera and Golden System
  • At least 2 years in a leadership role in Sales or Revenue
  • Minimum 2 years in reservations or guest relations
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus
  • Proficiency with hotel systems and high attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, luxury service standards
  • Guest-centric approach and understanding of guest preferences
