Job Summary

Reporting Specialist will report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing Operations and will support the Strategic Sourcing (SS) and Technology Sourcing Organization (TSO) by creating, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards on large amounts of data. They will work directly with management and key users to gather requirements, analyzing and interpreting data, provide status updates and build relationships. This data will be utilized by the internal SS and TSO teams, sales, and executive leadership to increase productivity, visibility, and sales forecast insights.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gathers and assembles information and data from a wide variety of sources to prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Data gathering and analysis - Providing review and analysis for data collected.
• Collaborate with developers to create and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Review and improve existing reports and dashboards through collaboration with team and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment.
• Manage and execute various business operating reporting projects within organization.
• Prepares status reports, assures timeline compliance, assesses risks and recommends solutions.
• Provide accurate data that can be relied upon to inform business decisions, collaborating with other members of the team to improve data accuracy.
• Ensure that all data is stored and shared in a safe way, adhering to data security requirements.
• Use data to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of key strategic projects and processes e.g., benchmarking, training needs analysis, etc.
• Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years proven experience as a reporting specialist.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with various databases, data extraction and analysis tools.
• Proficient in MS Office suite with a high skillset in Excel.
• Experience with using data visualization tools like Qlik or Power BI.
• Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Written and Oral English.
