A leading company is seeking a Senior Analyst for Reporting Data Analysis & Engineering to enhance ICT's Global MI Team. This role involves leveraging data analysis for effective reporting while supporting various MI stakeholders and contributing to strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in data-centric programming and have experience in business intelligence processes to deliver impactful insights.

The successful candidate for the position of Senior Analyst – Reporting Data Analysis & Engineering will have an important role in ICT’s Global MI Team. The mandate of this team is to centralize the production of and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of ICT’s internal management information and reporting globally. Examples include Sales and Pipeline analyses, MI Summary reports and Utilization / Productivity overviews.

The Senior Analyst will contribute to the team’s mandate by:

  • Having (or developing) a deep understanding of core WTW operational systems (including but not limited to MS Dynamics 365, Oracle and Mavenlink) and their underlying datasets
  • Leveraging data analysis & engineering capabilities and system knowledge to produce consistent, accurate, relevant, and timely MI to meet the needs of stakeholders, while also incorporating requirements around peer reviews, access rights, privacy & confidentiality and medium of delivery
  • Building and maintaining relationships with various MI stakeholders to ensure their reporting requirements are fully understood, while leveraging system expertise to translate these into prospective reports
  • Understanding the ICT business model, to support and challenge requests for MI
  • Contributing to and executing on ICT’s wider MI strategy, with a focus on the use, maintenance and further development of ICT’s MI data warehouse and the production of related Power BI reporting
Qualifications

The requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a related role
  • Degree-level qualification in a related field (e.g. Software Engineering; Computer Science; Business Operations; Actuarial Sciences; Maths; Statistics)
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel)
  • Experience with end-to-end business intelligence (BI) processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), storage, visualization, and delivery, with an understanding of data governance and security best practices
  • Proficiency in data-centric programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, VBA) and business intelligence tools, particularly within the Microsoft BI ecosystem (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Analysis Services, Visual Studio). Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse) is a plus
  • Experience in data models and reporting packages
  • Ability to analyse large datasets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A proven analytical mindset and inclination for problem-solving
  • A balanced approach to supporting demanding business
  • Effective organization, time management and prioritization skills
