Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Source Scheduler to manage regional scheduling for five plants, handling 2,500+ part numbers with over 100 vendors. Responsibilities include placing POs, monitoring MRP messages, and driving on-time delivery across multiple countries.

The role requires SAP knowledge, strong supply chain understanding, and ability to work with diverse vendors including international suppliers. Primary location is Juárez with remote flexibility and collaboration across Kohler FMG teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business or Operations Management is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in materials planning and scheduling in manufacturing or purchasing.
• Experience in inventory management, ERP/MRP and KanBan systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place and maintain supplier purchase orders for on-time delivery of materials under MRP or equivalent planning engines.
• Maintain communication with vendors to ensure quick execution of MRP exception messages when PO dates must be adjusted.
• Coordinate with vendors for expedited transportation when necessary.
• Work with vendors to maintain low air freight spend.
• Follow up on receiving processes to ensure PO-related issues do not delay vendor payments.
• Elevate issues within Kohler to drive vendor delivery improvements as needed.
• Maintain an optimum stock value of purchased components and finished goods.
• Provide operations with critical materials to avoid manufacturing downtime.
• Ensure proper deployment of system parameters to avoid overstock and shortages.
• Identify supplier capacity concerns and coordinate with Kohler FMG to address them.
• Set high performance standards by reducing inventory turns and lead times.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers and buyers to shorten lead times and MOQ.
