Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Development Lead to drive supplier recovery, capability improvement, and sustainable performance. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, supporting operational containment, supplier assessments, and structured improvement plans across global commodities.

This is a remote role with travel up to 50%. The candidate should be detail-oriented, strategic, and capable of managing crisis situations and long-term development actions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years relevant experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead containment actions with Operations and Quality.
• Run RCCA investigations to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement improvement plans with KPI tracking.
• Identify supplier sites and prioritize development efforts.
• Lead supplier assessments using SRA, SHA, Gemba.
• Coordinate with Commodity Managers and Engineering teams on readiness.
• Facilitate transition management and APQP for new programs.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and sustainment post-transition.
