Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Specialist within the Global Supplier Development organization, responsible for driving supplier recovery, capability improvement, and sustainable performance. This hands-on role coordinates containment, supplier assessments, and structured improvement plans across global commodities.

Qualifications
- University degree required; 8+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
- Experience in casting and/or forging manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead containment actions with Operations and Quality and coordinate improvement plans.
- Conduct RRCA investigations and escalate persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams.
- Monitor leading and lagging KPIs to assess progress and exit criteria.
- Identify supplier sites and prioritize development by risk and commodity needs.
- Engage suppliers with development roadmaps, training, and KPI tracking.
- Align with Commodity Managers and Engineering on supplier readiness for new programs and ramp-ups.
- Support supplier transitions with smooth handover and post-transition capability checks.
- Execute APQP for new product launches and transitions.
