BMC Software is seeking a Lead Revenue Recognition Analyst to join the Revenue Recognition team. The role focuses on ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and ASC 606, reviewing contracts, and advising on revenue implications across Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations.

Based remotely in Mexico, you will collaborate with teams in the United States and Latin America, support audits, and drive process improvements in revenue recognition and related systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive Revenue Accounting experience in enterprise IT, SaaS, or IT-enabled services organization.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and RevPro/Zuora or similar.
• Advanced Excel; knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or Power BI helpful.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer contracts and document revenue recognition per ASC 606.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations to assess terms and revenue implications.
• Review reconciliations, variance reports, and assist with monthly close.
• Support audits including SOX walkthroughs and control documentation.
• Contribute to revenue processes improvements and system upgrades.
• Draft accounting memos and respond to internal business inquiries.
• Assist with acquisitions and new deal models.
• Identify opportunities for process automation.
