World Business Lenders (WBL) provides short-term, real estate collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL manages its own loan portfolio and third-party loan portfolios, specializing in non-performing loan pools and REO management.
WBL is a U.S.-based company with a fully remote workforce.
This is a remote contract/consultant position.
Working hours are generally 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, with potential for longer hours based on operational needs.
The role requires excellent oral and written English language skills.

About the Job:
We are seeking a proactive, people-focused Recruiter to attract top talent across various roles. You will manage key recruitment stages, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand team needs and contribute to our company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize ATS, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms (Indeed, Facebook, local job boards) to source qualified candidates across industries and roles.
- Maintain daily recruitment and headcount reports using Microsoft Excel, tracking candidate pipelines, interviews, and open roles.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through direct outreach and networking.
- Maintain talent pipelines for recurring and high-volume roles.
- Conduct approximately 10 initial video interviews daily to assess candidate fit.
- Record interview notes and outcomes accurately in the ATS.
- Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers across multiple time zones.
- Ensure alignment on interview logistics and expectations.
- Track and update candidate status throughout the hiring process, providing regular updates to management.
- Support administrative tasks such as job postings, requisition updates, and candidate communications.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with candidate and company information.
- Prepare and distribute recruitment and headcount reports regularly.
- Promote employer branding through recruitment channels.
- Participate in recruitment projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 4 years of experience in fast-paced environments with U.S.-based companies as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Sourcer.
- Proven experience in candidate sourcing and headhunting.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proactive approach and strong work ethic.
- Quick learner with strong organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with productivity monitoring systems.
- Own a personal computer/laptop (company does not provide equipment).
Additional Details:

- Salary range: $1000 - $1300 USD.
