Job summary

847 Flextronics Manufacturing Juarez S De Rl De Cv is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for a fully remote role with ties to Guadalajara and global operations. You will analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality across regions.

You will use advanced modeling and simulation tools to identify bottlenecks, test improvements, and implement solutions that impact production capabilities in a remote, distributed team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (Arena, FlexSim, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Design and develop new production processes and workflows, incorporating automation and lean principles.
• Utilize process simulation and modeling software to predict outcomes and optimize designs.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for new and improved processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and R&D, to implement process changes.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting on results.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and process engineering.
• Contribute to the development and execution of process improvement projects.
