Placements24 is seeking an innovative Industrial Engineer for the design and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This fully remote role focuses on GMP, FDA compliance, and scalable solutions that meet top industry standards while maximizing efficiency.

You will develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, perform risk assessments, participate in validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and collaborate with R&D, QA, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial/Chemical Engineering with pharma focus.
• 5+ years in industrial engineering in pharma/biopharma.
• GMP/FDA validation knowledge (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Experience with process design software and simulations.
• Excellent remote collaboration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (upstream/downstream).
• Create P&IDs and equipment specifications; ensure GMP compliance.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and production to scale lab processes.
• Run process simulations and risk assessments (FMEA).
• Lead process validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Analyze production data for continuous improvement.
• Provide remote technical support for manufacturing issues.
