Bluelightconsulting is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to design and build scalable APIs and multi-tenant systems. You will work with Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, contributing across the stack as needed and ensuring robust testing and security.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, engage in continuous learning, and enjoy flexible hours with remote work options. A strong emphasis on ownership, quality, and client-focused delivery drives our work ethos.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Extensive experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS, PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Fastify and Zod for validation.
• Experience with containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS.
• Experience with multi-tenant and event-sourced data models.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Solid full-stack capabilities and willingness to contribute to frontend work.
• Background handling large, complex systems and security considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend services and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend and AI tooling teams on projects.
• Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and data modeling.
