Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion 360) and PDM/PLM systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with simulation tools (FEA, CFD) for design validation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote setting.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A dedicated home office setup with reliable high-speed internet access.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications per standards.
• Perform stress and thermal analyses and other simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate virtually with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to ensure product viability.
• Conduct design reviews and modify designs for cost and manufacturability.
• Research new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain design documentation including BOMs, reports, and test procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical design.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and field teams as needed.
