ALTEN Mexico is seeking an experienced Senior HPC/Systems Engineer to join a remote, full-time team. You will manage job scheduling, maintain Linux systems, and oversee HPC infrastructure including cluster software, PBS/SLURM, and CAE tools.

The role requires 5+ years in Linux administration, HPC management, and scripting in Python and Bash, with strong English and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related area.
• 5+ years of Linux Administration.
• 2+ years of HPC Management.
• AWS ParallelCluster experience.
• 1+ years of Python scripting.
• 1+ years of Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with CAE software.
• Strong English and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and optimize parallel job management.
• Maintain system software and firmware revisions, including patches, updates, and OS upgrades.
• Solve system hardware and software issues.
• Implement solutions, repairs and workarounds.
• Manage software issues for both the system and user applications.
• Support users when they encounter issues.
