Job summary

HARMAN International in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a line maintenance technician to support production, ensure safety, and maintain equipment integrity. You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and participate in model changes and first-piece releases.

The role requires PLC experience, knowledge of high/low voltage systems, and the ability to read electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC systems and electrical controls.
• Knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
• Basic English required.
• Ability to read electrical and electronic drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and electrical measurement equipment.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
• At least 6 months in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment related to installation and maintenance of machinery.
• Performs operating diagnostics and repairs to identify opportunities for preventive, productive or corrective maintenance.
• Performs uninstallation, disassembly or changes necessary in equipment.
• Participates in development and programming of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Prepares requisitions of parts and materials required.
• Verifies equipment and instruments work properly, installed and calibrated.
• Complies with ISOTS quality management and ISO14000 environmental systems.
• Implements model changes and releases first piece with required revisions.
• Makes changes and adjustments to machinery for correct model.
• Checks for mismatches to avoid non-specification processes and non-conforming products.
• Ensures scrap is minimized due to mismatches.
• Uses hand tools and may weld as needed.
• Follows EHSS and quality system requirements and uses PPE.
• Performs other tasks assigned by supervisor and manager.
• Supports quality and EHSS objectives and programs.
