BairesDev, a global software company, is seeking a Software Engineer (Go / Distributed Systems) to design and maintain high-performance infrastructure powering our services. You will build concurrent distributed systems and databases, focusing on consistency and availability.

This 100% remote role offers flexible hours, competitive USD pay, hardware setup, and opportunities to collaborate with a global Top 1% of talent. English required; experience in Raft/Paxos a plus.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on systems programming and distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop highly concurrent, low-latency distributed systems using Go.
• Implement and optimize consensus algorithms such as Raft to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Build and scale distributed databases and coordination services to support global infrastructure.
• Solve complex challenges related to distributed state, networking, and system synchronization.
• Collaborate with architectural teams to define standards for scalable and fault-tolerant backend services.
• Conduct performance tuning and debugging of core distributed components to maintain peak efficiency.
