Join BairesDev, a fully remote tech company, as a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails. You will design and build scalable backend systems, craft secure RESTful APIs, and optimize database schemas for complex data structures.

You will also implement tests, performance tuning, and streamlined deployment workflows in a globally distributed team. The role requires 5+ years of Ruby development experience, strong API and SQL skills, Git proficiency, and solid English.

• 5+ years of software engineering or Ruby development.
• Proficient in backend web apps using Ruby on Rails.
• Strong RESTful API development experience.
• SQL/Active Record, testing, and performance optimization.
• Git and cloud deployment experience.
