Job summary

Outlier is seeking QA Coders to help train AI models by reviewing AI-generated code and flagging issues. You’ll rate responses on accuracy, instruction following, and presentation to improve model output.

Ideal candidates have a CS degree, live production code experience, and strong written and spoken English. This is a freelance 1099 contract with flexible remote work and competitive hourly rates with incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate model responses across accuracy, instruction following and presentation.
• Write clear, structured prompts to challenge AI models.
