Deel is seeking a Payroll Expert to own end-to-end payroll execution for specific countries or regions. You will apply deep knowledge of local payroll regulations, implement systems, and manage vendor relationships to ensure accurate payroll processing.

You will drive continuous improvement in payroll processes, stay current on regulatory changes, and collaborate with HR, finance, and operations to support regional teams across a dynamic, global platform.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll and HR experience in relevant country.
• Strong working knowledge of local payroll regulations and policies.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
• Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll, incorporating Deel product technology requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in your region, as well as in other trained countries.
• Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities.
• Own all critical local payroll and HR processes, including setting up deductions and onboarding/offboarding of employees.
• Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile collections to expenses.
• Stay informed of local regulatory changes and communicate key changes across teams.
• Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters in your region.
• Answer complex payroll and HR questions from employees and clients in your region.
