Job summary

Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is seeking a senior backend developer to join our Mexico team. You will design scalable API services, work with Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, and contribute to high-quality, multi-tenant systems.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, implement CI/CD, and uphold security and performance standards. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong problem solving, and a willingness to align with US business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development experience.
• Proficient with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency, scalable RESTful APIs on AWS.
• Strong SQL, PostgreSQL, and schema migrations.
• Secure multi-tenant environments and data access control.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
