Job Title: Remote Finance Operations Specialist (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,000 USD/month paid via direct transfer in local currency or USD

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM Eastern Time

Job Overview:

As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will take ownership of invoicing, bookkeeping, financial analysis, and AR/AP processes. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy across financial data and optimizing workflows. Working directly with the Director of Finance and Accounting, you’ll be a key contributor to strategic initiatives, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence as the business scales. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth execution of monthly and quarterly workflows, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Manage accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, financial reporting and assisting in month-end closing activities using QuickBooks.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze warranty program performance and provide financial insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis as directed by the Director of Finance and Accounting.

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with spreadsheets (knowledge of SQL is a plus)
  • QuickBooks expertise with a foundation in accounting principles
  • Technical, detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to analyze and synthesize data
  • Solutions-oriented & able to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take on multiple projects independently and manage deadlines
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with teams across different functions
