BairesDev is seeking a Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to join our fully remote team. You will embed security into CI/CD pipelines, define Policy as Code with Open Policy Agent, and safeguard secrets across environments.

The role emphasizes cloud-native security, container hardening, and collaboration with engineers to improve security standards. We offer 100% remote work worldwide, competitive USD compensation, and flexible hours.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or DevOps.
• Proven expertise embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Proficiency with security tooling integration (Snyk, Trivy, Aqua).
• Hands-on experience implementing Policy as Code using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
• Strong background in secrets management and securing containerized infrastructure.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate automated security scanning and testing tools into CI/CD pipelines to catch vulnerabilities early.
• Define and implement Policy as Code to maintain consistent security standards across all infrastructure and deployments.
• Manage and secure sensitive data through robust secrets management across environments.
• Harden containerized workloads and orchestration platforms to protect against cloud-native threats.
• Foster a culture of security awareness by collaborating with engineering teams to adopt best practices and secure coding standards.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and auditing of infrastructure to ensure ongoing compliance and rapid threat detection.
