N-iX is seeking a DataOps Engineer to shape a regional cloud data platform across LATAM. Lead automation, IaC with Terraform on GCP, and model deployment for real-time scoring APIs while collaborating with Data Engineering, Data Science, Security, and Product teams.

You will drive secure, scalable data delivery, manage data lifecycle complexity, and mentor teams in automated testing and deployment practices across multi-country cloud environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Enginering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, DataOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles, with a focus on Terraform and GCP.
• Proven track record implementing CI/CD pipelines for data engineering code (dbt, SQL, Snowflake) using GitHub Actions or similar CI engines.
• Experience in packaging and serving machine learning models as production-ready microservices/APIs (Python, FastAPI, Docker) for real-time integration.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for infrastructure automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud security practices: IAM, secret management, network policy, and LATAM compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, data science, product, and security teams.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture, deployment automation, and continuous improvement of the regional cloud data platform.
• Drive automated CI/CD pipelines for data transformations (SQL/dbt) and analytical models.
• Package and containerize real-time scoring models as APIs (FastAPI/Docker) for decision engines.
• Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders to reflect business goals and governance.
• Mentor engineers in automated data testing, cloud automation, and ML deployment practices.
