Job summary

Data Platform Architect at BairesDev is responsible for taking a greenfield Azure and Snowflake environment to a production-grade platform. You will own security and architecture decisions end-to-end and work directly with investment professionals as the client-facing technical authority.

You will design and implement Azure data services, Snowflake environments, and access controls while building robust, event-driven ingestion pipelines in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Azure data architecture and managed services.
• Proven experience with Snowflake greenfield setup and access controls.
• Experience designing access with Entra ID or Microsoft Graph.
• Event-driven ingestion knowledge and webhooks.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Excellent English communications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Azure data architecture from the ground up.
• Set up Snowflake environments, RBAC, masking, and row-level security.
• Design access architecture using Entra ID and managed identity.
• Build event-driven ingestion pipelines and data workflows.
• Own security posture and architecture decisions in regulated environments.
• Serve as client-facing technical authority with investment professionals.
