Job summary

Luxoft in Mexico is seeking a Senior Azure & Snowflake Platform Architect (12+ years) to lead the enterprise data architecture strategy for a global organization.

You will drive data modernization, design lakehouse architectures, and integrate SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/BW4HANA with Snowflake, dbt, ADF, and Power BI, enabling analytics and self-service reporting.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture leading enterprise-level implementations.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW / BW4HANA expertise.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Power BI.
• Expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, MDM, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Lakehouse Architectures.
• Domain experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, SRM, Trade Promotion, or Clinical Development.
• Willingness to align with US business hours (through 1:00 PM US time).
• Advanced English with strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global enterprise data architecture strategy across SAP and modern cloud data stacks.
• Design and optimize scalable cloud platform solutions using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), dbt, and Power BI.
• Architect modern lakehouse solutions, semantic layers, and reusable data products across multi-domain environments.
• Establish seamless integration frameworks and data-sharing patterns between SAP (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) and non-SAP systems.
• Lead large-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives to replace legacy structures with high-performing cloud solutions.
• Implement and enforce enterprise Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, metadata management, and data lineage practices.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, retention policies, and high system reliability across all data pipelines.
• Partner with executive business leaders, SAP functional leads, analytics managers, and data engineering teams.
• Provide architectural direction, technical mentorship, and governance reviews for engineering and analytics teams.

We are seeking a Senior Azure & Snowflake Platform Architect (12+ years of experience) to spearhead the design and delivery of an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy for a global organization.

In this strategic, high-visibility role, you will lead data modernization efforts by establishing a unified cloud data ecosystem—seamlessly integrating SAP S/4HANA & SAP BW with Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Power BI. You will design modern lakehouse architectures, robust data governance frameworks, and scalable enterprise data models that empower global analytics, self-service reporting, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Platform Strategy

• Define and drive the global enterprise data architecture strategy across SAP and modern cloud data stacks.
• Design and optimize scalable cloud platform solutions using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), dbt, and Power BI.
• Architect modern lakehouse solutions, semantic layers, and reusable data products across multi-domain environments.

Systems Integration & Modernization

• Establish seamless integration frameworks and data-sharing patterns between SAP (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) and non-SAP systems.
• Lead large-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives to replace legacy structures with high-performing cloud solutions.

Data Governance, MDM & Quality

• Implement and enforce enterprise Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, metadata management, and data lineage practices.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, retention policies, and high system reliability across all data pipelines.

Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner closely with executive business leaders, SAP functional leads, analytics managers, and data engineering teams.
• Provide architectural direction, technical mentorship, and governance reviews for engineering and analytics teams.

Mandatory Experience

• Experience Level: 12+ years in Data & Analytics Architecture leading enterprise-level implementations.
• SAP Ecosystem Expertise: Deep, hands-on architectural experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW / BW4HANA.
• Modern Data Stack: Proven mastery of Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Power BI.
• Data Modeling & Governance: Expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, MDM, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Lakehouse Architectures.
• Domain Exposure: Solid experience in at least one key domain: Supply Chain, Procurement, SRM, Trade Promotion, or Clinical Development.
• Schedule Alignment: Willingness and availability to align with US business hours (minimum coverage through 1:00 PM US time).
• Communication: C1/Advanced English proficiency with exceptional leadership and global stakeholder management skills.
