Job summary

The Original Bitcoin Exchange is seeking an AML Investigations professional to join our Compliance Team. The role focuses on efficiently adjudicating referrals of unusual activity and timely SAR submissions within regulatory timelines.

You will work with the Head of Investigation Team and collaborate with Customer Support and Legal, applying blockchain analytics tools and due diligence practices to mitigate money laundering and sanctions risks.

Qualifications

• University education preferred.
• Experience in an investigative function.
• Experience using blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic.
• CDD/EDD and AML/CTF/Sanctions investigations experience.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate referrals to determine risk exposure and SAR filing or account actions.
• Support Customer Help Desk / Legal teams with investigative needs.
• Communicate with customers, agents and internal attorneys as applicable.
• Maintain relationships with peers and stay current on industry best practices.
• Develop skills and understanding of blockchain tech to mitigate AML/CTF risks.
