Job summary

The Original Bitcoin Exchange is seeking an AML Investigator to efficiently adjudicate referrals of unusual activity for timely SAR submissions or to close referrals as not suspicious, under regulatory timelines. You will join the AML Investigations Team and collaborate with Compliance and Legal peers.

Responsibilities include ongoing self‑development in blockchain tech, CDD/EDD, and sharing best practices. Remote-friendly culture with growth opportunities and strong mentoring.

Qualifications

• University education (Preferred).
• Experience in an investigative function.
• Experience using blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM and Elliptic.
• Demonstrated AML/CTF/Sanctions investigations, SAR/STR reporting.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology.
• CAMS/CBP designation (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Investigate referrals of unusual activity and determine risk exposure to the company.
• Provide investigative support to Help Desk / Legal Team requests.
• Communicate with customers, agents and internal attorneys as applicable.
