Job summary

Devconnectplatform is seeking an Automation Specialist for our Movie and TV Metadata team in a remote Mexico-based role. You will perform metadata QA, follow project-specific standards, and contribute to content curation while exploring automation opportunities.

You will design and build automation/AI tools using Python or JavaScript, document your work, and collaborate with project managers to tighten workflows and scale operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or equivalent).
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including macros, formulas, and data models.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English (business level).
• Highly organized and self-directed, able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA on movie and TV metadata following testing instructions and checklists.
• Ensure content review adheres to quality standards and client glossaries.
• Complete assigned tasks on time, including repetitive work, and prioritize as requirements shift.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and automation opportunities; document and backlog them for leadership.
• Design, develop, and deploy automation and AI-assisted tools using scripting languages.
• Create documentation and share knowledge to drive adoption across the team.
