Job summary

Welo Data is seeking an Automation Specialist-1 to join the Movie & TV Metadata team. Work will combine hands-on content work with building AI and automation solutions, collaborating with project managers and leadership.

Starting as a project specialist, you will learn workflows and progressively streamline them. The role focuses on analyzing workflows, building automation, and delivering tools using Python/JavaScript, with a 40-hour work week and remote location in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Passion for and knowledge of film and TV industry.
• Proven analytical capability to examine a complex workflow and design a structured solution.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript or equivalent.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, including macros and data models.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Highly organised, self-directed, able to deliver repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA on movie/TV metadata following testing instructions and test cases.
• Ensure content review adheres to project quality standards and glossaries.
• Complete tasks to a high standard and on time, including repetitive work.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and automation opportunities, and document recommendations.
