Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Systems Reliability Engineer for a fully remote role. You will analyze reliability data, identify failure trends, and develop reliability-centered maintenance programs to enhance fleet safety and uptime.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering with 6+ years in aviation reliability, strong statistical skills (FMEA/FTA), and proficiency in Excel, MATLAB, and Minitab.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 years in aircraft systems reliability engineering in aviation.
Proficient in statistical analysis, reliability modeling and predictive maintenance.
Experience with FMEA and FTA methodologies.
Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.
Fluent in English with strong technical writing.

Responsibilities

Analyze aircraft system performance data and failure reports to identify trends.
Develop reliability-centered maintenance programs.
Use statistical tools to predict component failures.
Monitor fleet reliability metrics and KPIs.
Collaborate with design engineering and maintenance teams on improvements.
Maintain reliability models and databases.
Prepare reports on fleet reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
Provide guidance to maintenance personnel on reliability issues.
Stay updated with industry best practices and regulations.
Contribute to maintenance planning and operational efficiency.
