Job summary

Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code and flag issues, rating model responses for accuracy and instruction following. You will also craft clear, structured prompts to challenge AI models and push their coding capabilities.

This is a freelance 1099 role with flexible remote work across multiple countries. Applicants from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, Dominica, Belize are encouraged

Qualifications

Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
Excellent attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
Rate and rank model responses across dimensions like accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of coding ability.
