Job summary

Redzone seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to join the Champion AI platform team. You will build features across the Champion platform, support Applied AI engineers, and directly develop Champion agents for business-unit use cases while collaborating with the platform and tooling stack.

You will work within a codebase alongside Applied AI engineers, focusing on practical platform improvements, MCP concepts, and robust testing practices to ensure reliable agent behavior in production

Qualifications

• Proficient in async Python with FastAPI, Pydantic, and testing using pytest.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and MCP or similar protocols.
• Knowledge of multi-agent design patterns and AI-driven evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Platform Development: build features across Champion platform repositories and improve tooling and docs.
• Applied AI Enablement: assist BU AI engineers, review agent implementations and provide guides.
• Agent Development: design Champion agents and manage prompts, bindings, and rollout.
• Engineering Practices: maintain trunk-based development, write tests, and use conventional commits.
