Job summary

Atomic HR, a mission-driven performance marketing agency serving universities and nonprofits, seeks an Account Manager to own day-to-day partner success across higher education and nonprofit sectors.

You’ll work with an Account Director on larger accounts, manage timelines and deliverables, and keep campaigns aligned across creative and analytics. This is a 100% remote role paid in USD, with compensation based on experience and scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Account Management, preferably in marketing/agency.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication—clear, friendly, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
• Ability to translate partner needs into actionable internal direction.
• Comfortable using Asana or similar project management tools.
• Analytical mindset with experience reviewing performance reports and campaign data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Native or near-native English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Be the main day-to-day contact for assigned partners, keeping communication clear and partner-first.
• Run partner check-ins with strong agendas, alignment notes, and follow-through.
• Translate partner needs into actionable internal direction and keep records on scope and status.
• Coordinate campaigns end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and scope stay tight.
• Monitor performance with the paid media team, pull reports, and surface insights.
• Keep creative, media, and analytics teams aligned for smooth execution.
• Track progress against partner goals including budget pacing, inquiries, applications, enrollments.
• Spot retention, renewal, and upsell opportunities early and support proposals with Account Director.
• Assist with onboarding and new business support to start partnerships strong.
• Support reporting accuracy and invoicing to aid account financial health.
