Amazon Mexico Operations is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager to lead a team of technicians, focusing on safety, coaching and development. The role aims to maximize equipment availability through preventative maintenance and adherence to internal processes.

The manager will mentor staff, coordinate with the Site Safety department, and ensure adequate technical coverage across shifts, with opportunities to lead local projects in a dynamic fulfillment environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of people management experience in engineering or operations.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, or controls field.
• Experience with automated packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.
• Experience meeting health and safety standards and regulations.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and able to take direction in English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support and mentor the team to work safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the network to build solutions using technical expertise.
• Support safety and compliance programs with Site Safety and Site Leadership.
• Maintain high equipment availability through preventative maintenance.
• Organize training and ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Manage local projects or BR-level projects as assigned.
• Be prepared to work on shift to stay connected with the team.
