Missions
  • Guarantee the accuracy and validity of the balanced transport performance dashboard of your region as well as customs & packaging related data.
  • Assess continuously the transport (including customs) and packaging data situation of the Business Groups (BGs) under your geographical scope, notably through the data quality tool.
  • Assess, lead, and animate the main current and future network of end-users and key-users to continuously improve the availability and accuracy of said data, ensuring it can be used in real-time for decision-making (by control tower, by International Trade teams, etc.).
  • Assist in data management activities to improve findability, accessibility, interoperability, usability, and quality of data objects across the BGs.
Activities

Performance side: as required by regional activities related to the implementation of the new transport/customs strategy.

Data side:

  • Ensure data quality (“can be trusted”) and its traceability by implementing actions to follow and improve data quality.
  • Ensure that data policies and rules are applied locally.
  • Maintain and understand data and metadata.
Data governance & management:
  • Collect transport, packaging, and customs data needs from data consumers across PO, maintain list of data objects, and assess data value and improvement potential.
  • Implement data quality controls by object, develop data architecture policies, standards, and guidelines under the guidance of the Global SC Data Manager.
  • Write glossaries and dictionaries related to transport, with support from Business Process Owners and local IS teams.
  • Foster the application of data governance rules and track data management efficiency across the organization.
  • Establish and promote data remediation processes.
Data products:
  • Prioritize and design transport data products based on data needs collection.
  • Monitor the data product backlog and serve as the link between data users and the global SC Data Manager.
  • Ensure the sharing and proper functioning of transport data products.
  • Ensure data products perform as expected and meet business needs, viewing the data as trusted.
  • Monitor usage and continuously improve data products.
Data analytics:
  • Prioritize and design analytics solutions (dashboards, Machine Learning programs, etc.) with stakeholder support.
  • Review reports and visualizations to ensure they perform as expected and meet business needs, ensuring data is trusted.
Data communities:
  • Participate in Data Steward communities and coaching sessions with the Data Office, and contribute to working groups as needed.
  • Support data citizens.
  • Coordinate key user networks to promote rule and policy compliance in collaboration with BPOs.
Competencies requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain with a focus on data management.

Ideally, some experience or knowledge in transport, packaging, and customs-related data management; experience as SAP Key-user or BPO is a plus.

Proficiency in Power BI, MS Office, SAP (MM, PP, SD; FI-CO is a plus), and basic SQL.

Qualified in change management.

Leadership skills to drive initiatives without direct control.

Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills to establish connections and build trust.

Strong problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset.

Highly accountable, reliable, autonomous.

Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is appreciated.

Ability to work in an international environment and with global teams.

Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
