Missions
- Drive efficiency & effectiveness and continuous improvement across end-to-end control tower (competency center+plants+purchasing/customs) operations and ensure the Control Tower delivers value through actionable insights, measurable top notch service levels align with business objectives
- Owns and drives Control Tower Performance scorecard improvement
- Oversee data quality dashboard improvement
- Ensure the success of the flow and packaging projects
- Owns the quality system of the Control Tower
Deliverables
- Ensure that selected TMS systems works efficiently and supports competency center operations as well as plants Transport/packaging related activities
- Ensure master data meets data quality rules enabling smooth operations and savings
- Deliver against performance ambitions & KPI improvements and all other performance indicators of the 360 degrees-performance dashboard
- Be the major actor of breakthrough cost reductions targets by working and supporting/sponsoring closely Network Design and flow & packaging improvements initiatives,
- Ensure transport process comply with internal (SOP) and external standards and regulations,
- TCC processes and workflows documented, kept up to date and strictly applied. Provide all training required and qualification record for competency center and plants related staff
Activities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of network design, master data, performance, quality and packaging experts & TMS super users,
- Works with the team on the continuous improvement projects, network optimization, flow and packaging initiatives,
- Works with TMS super users on setting up and maintaining the TMS application
- Works with Master Data Stewards on MD improvements with and for the Plants and Technical Competency Center
- Lead root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and support prioritization
- Monitor relevant KPIs and implement improvements with Plants, Programs, Suppliers, Purchasing, Carriers
- Collaborate & Support Transport Operations, Freight Audit and Service Delivery team
- Manage escalated issues timely tackling root causes of issues
- Implement and apply logistics policies & procedures

- Location: Leon, Mexico
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain / Transportation or equivalent professional experience welcomed
- Expert in process optimization & Root Cause Analysis tools (5Whys, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis), Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Change and Quality Control, with logistics operational background
- Process driven mindset with pro-active attitude, analytical and critical thinking
- 12-15 years' experience in Automotive and/or Transportation Management with successful track record of performance management & direct team management
- Background in transport operations management
