Job summary

CIMMYT is seeking a Security Manager for Mexico and LATAM to oversee physical and operational security across the region. The role translates CIMMYT security standards into country-level frameworks and leads investigations, risk assessments and contractor management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in physical or corporate security.
• Experience leading security operations and risk assessments.
• Experience managing security contractors and service providers.
• Proven ability to design procedures, controls and playbooks.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day physical and operational security across Mexico and LATAM.
• Lead risk, threat, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
• Manage regional security contractors and service providers.
• Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs.
• Provide operational direction to security personnel to meet priorities.
• Coordinate with Travel Security and stakeholders on travel requirements.
