CIMMYT is seeking a Security Manager for Mexico and LATAM to safeguard personnel, assets and operations across the region.

You will translate CIMMYT security standards into practical country and regional frameworks, lead investigations, coordinate risk assessments, manage contractors and deliver training programs, while supporting travel security and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in physical security.
• Experience managing complex security operations and contractors.
• Experience developing security frameworks, procedures, controls and training.

Responsabilités

• Manage day‑to‑day physical and operational security across Mexico and LATAM.
• Lead risk, threat, vulnerability and site-security assessments.
• Lead investigations of security incidents and near misses.
• Manage regional security contractors and guard-force partners.
• Design and manage recurring security training programs.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational direction to security personnel.
