MAIN PURPOSE
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the development and improvement of Montblanc's business in the LATAM region by ensuring that sales, visibility, quality of services, and customer relationships align with the maison's guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Development of the Business and our Commercial Partnership:
- Achieve the monthly budget by monitoring account performance, tailoring strategies, and action plans to maximize retailer sales.
Account Management
- Maintain privileged contact with clients and ensure high account satisfaction.
- Advise on and plan the replenishment of Montblanc collections with retailers, ensuring optimal product mix.
- Monitor stock levels and sell-in/sell-out per POS, and develop action plans to boost sell-out.
- Recommend, set up, and follow incentives and promotions.
- Resolve issues related to after-sales, logistics, and deliveries.
- Coordinate administrative tasks for commercial activity follow-up.
- Conduct quarterly formal meetings with retailers, in addition to regular visits.
Visibility
- Ensure proper brand image implementation according to HQ guidelines.
- Guarantee the right POS visibility through visual merchandising standards.
- Enhance brand presence and space where possible.
Marketing
- Implement and follow up on marketing action plans per account, as previously agreed with the Brand and Marketing Director.
Training
- Organize and conduct regular training sessions with retail sales teams to maximize brand commitment.
Market Organization
- Develop business plans and support the implementation of marketing and product launch initiatives.
Network Management
- Define action plans per door/account, validate visit plans, and ensure proper reporting.
- Optimize account coverage and maintain a POS database.
Sales Forecast
- Prepare sales forecasts by country, account, and product, including sell-out per door.
Reporting
- Provide feedback on sell-out, stock levels, competition, distribution, and pricing as needed.
Brand Representation
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all actions and communications reflect brand values and policies.
Dimension
- Responsibility covers Mexico & LATAM, but is not limited to these areas.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Required Experience
2-5 years in international sales, preferably in luxury products.
Technical Skills / Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

- Strong sales and marketing knowledge, especially in luxury products.

- Willingness to travel and work extended hours.
- Understanding of international cultural and legal variances in sales.
