Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.


About the role

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to lead a team of District Managers responsible for one of the 3 regions in the country and represent all of GM Financial areas with GM dealerships. This role is also responsible for the commercial relationship with all dealers from their region and the achievement of objectives in our retail & wholesale business. This role will also work with their GM Regional Manager counterpart to ensure strong support, visit schedule and training strategies of both Dealers and District Managers.

The Regional Sales Manager will lead the sales, marketing, communication, product and F&I strategies looking to maximize the financial product placement.

As a Regional Sales Manager you will need to have the ability to travel and build meaningful relationships with your team, the dealer network, peers & GM Mexico.


What you need

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related fields with administrative-economic focus (Degree is a must).
  • Desirable: Master’s degree in Business Administration (in progress or completed).
  • At least +5 years of experience working in a Financial Company, bank or car dealer in the sales department with proven experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead or Manager.
  • Previous experience in credit or financial products placement.
  • Experience as a Sales Account Manager with direct costumer service activities.
  • English Proficiency (both verbal and written, will be evaluated during interview).
  • Strong oral communication skill.
  • Ability to establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • High level of self-management and empowerment.
  • Process development skills.
  • Skills in managing MS Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Excel).
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Skills in team management & sales motivation.
  • Availability to travel (will require national travelling).

What you will be doing

  • Be the Company’s representative with a part of the GM Mexico dealership network.
  • Lead and develop the Regional team of District Managers.
  • Coordinate commercial and marketing strategies to achieve sales objectives.
  • Training and updating dealers on policies, processes and products through the District Managers.
  • Efficiently track operations within the assigned dealers.
  • Management of KPI’s such as: volume of contracts and wholesale-retail business penetration.
  • Work with all the areas of the organization to help resolve day-to-day situations required by dealers.
  • Promote the Value Add Products (VAP) through the Sales District Managers.
  • Propose innovations to become more efficient.
