DiDi Global is seeking a Regional Media Intern in Mexico City to support media planning and buying, raise brand awareness, and optimize investment efficiency across local markets. You will contribute to measurable improvements in reach, CPM/CPA, and budget accuracy within the Regional Media team.

Your role will help align local media execution with broader mobility platform priorities while ensuring planning standards and vendor governance across markets.

Formación

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to build concise media materials and adapt planning approaches for diverse regional audiences.
  • Familiar with media/ad platforms (e.g., DV360, Meta Ads Manager) and office productivity tools; familiarity with Monday and trackers is a plus.
  • Experience in media planning, digital marketing, or data analysis for regional audiences is desirable.

Team Overview

As a Regional Media Intern at DiDi, you will support regional media planning and buying operations to raise brand awareness, optimize investment efficiency, and drive measurable performance across local markets; your work will directly contribute to measurable improvements in campaign reach, media efficiency (CPM/CPA), and budget accuracy. You will join the Regional Media team, helping align local media execution with DiDi's broader mobility, safety, and platform-growth priorities while ensuring consistent planning standards and vendor governance across markets.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support the development and localization of media plans and briefs, including channel mix, flighting, and budget allocation, to achieve timely execution and alignment with campaign objectives across markets.
  • Monitor regional media performance and spend daily, compile actionable reports with delivery and efficiency metrics, and share weekly summaries that identify optimization opportunities or budget risks.
  • Coordinate briefings and follow-ups between regional media vendors and local teams, managing logistics and negotiation notes to secure favorable terms and track rate/rebate performance.
  • Assist in executing regional media campaigns and product launches, coordinating with marketing and business unit teams to meet campaign KPIs such as impressions, reach, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain and update regional vendor and budget trackers, ensuring FCST/ACC/ACT accuracy and improving planning efficiency by documenting spend, commitments, and follow-ups.
  • Produce concise media materials (plan summaries, post-buy analyses, performance decks) tailored to local stakeholders to support reporting cadences and drive efficiency benchmarks.
  • Support budget accuracy readiness by preparing tracking templates, compiling vendor backgrounders, and participating in forecasting cycles to reduce reporting errors and ensure process consistency.
Role Qualifications
  • Education: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Administration, or a related field.
    • Core competency: Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to build clear, concise media materials and adapt planning approaches for diverse regional audiences.
    • Technical skill: Proficiency with media/ad platforms (e.g., DV360, Meta Ads Manager), Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and basic data analysis; familiarity with Monday, budget trackers, or media databases is a plus.
    • Analytical ability: Comfortable synthesizing media performance and spend data into actionable insights and concise weekly reports.
    • Project skills: Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across markets, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain accurate trackers and timelines.
    • Mindset and qualities: Proactive, culturally sensitive, and collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn in a fast-moving, high-scale mobility technology company.
    • Experience: Previous internship or coursework in media planning, digital marketing, or data analysis for regional audiences is highly desirable and demonstrates readiness to contribute quickly.
