Regional Category Manager - REFS US

Job Description Summary

Location: Mexico City #Hybrid

About The Role:

Responsible for the REFS category and leading the delivery of projects as part of the Annual Category Plan. Focuses on project delivery including requirements gathering, market analysis, supplier qualification and selection in collaboration with Business Partners and stakeholders. Also handles non-sourcing projects such as demand management and process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Translate global divisional or regional procurement strategies into actionable country strategies and local implementations.
2. Lead sourcing plan implementation for the sub-category and achieve savings targets through engagement in target setting.
3. Contribute to the development of category strategies by identifying key supplier relationships and leading business planning activities, ensuring timely execution aligned with goals.
4. Manage strategic supplier relationships within the sub-category, establish KPIs, and resolve supplier performance issues promptly to ensure end-user satisfaction.
5. At a country level, oversee purchases related to supplier selection, timing, and commercial conditions, depending on division control.
6. Gather supplier information and feedback from divisions, sites, and partners, and report on procurement metrics for the sub-category.
7. Create, review, and manage major contracts, ensuring clear communication and consistent application within the sub-category.
8. Manage budget and resource allocation for the area of responsibility.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Procurement, Real Estate, and Facilities.
• Cross-cultural experience with strategic sourcing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in Operations Management and Project Management.
